Edith Frances Oehl, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, at the age of 82.

Born December 3, 1919 to Josephine and Frank Novak, Sr. in Ganado, Texas, and resided in Stafford for 31 years. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Missouri City, and member of the Golden Friendship Group. Edith was a loving and patient wife and mother and a devoted and generous grandmother and great-grandmother who did so much for everyone, and was loved so very much in return.

Survived by daughters, Evelyn Roberts, Freeport, Tx and Joyce Sharp and husband David Sharp, Magnolia, Tx; grandchildren, Kathy Savel and husband Eric, Magnolia, Tx, Frank Azzarello and wife, Lexie, Conroe, Tx, Daniel Sharp and wife, Michelle, Spring, Tx, and Stephen Sharp and wife, April, Spring, Tx., great-grandchildren, Linsey Welch, Connor Sharp and Keaton Sharp; sister, Josephine Vonderau, and brothers, Willie Novak and Johnnie Novak; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; in 1993 by her loving husband of 51 years, John; son, James Oehl; granddaughter, Janet Welch; great-granddaughter, Brittany Welch; son-in-law, Bennett Roberts; sisters, Lillie Oehl and Margaret Hajovsky; brothers, Jerome Novak and Frankie Novak.

Pallbearers - Frank Azzarello, Daniel Sharp, Stephen Sharp, Marvin Oehl, David Hajovsky, and Lee Novak. Visitation at Holy Family Church (1510 5th Street, Missouri City) Tues, August 27, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a rosary. Mass at 11:00 on Wed., August 28, Holy Family Church, Fr. David Zapalac officiating. Interment following at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, Rosenberg.

We wish to thank the wonderful doctors and nursing staff at Memorial Southwest and Fort Bend Hospitals and Vitas Hospice Care for their never ending kindness and thoughtfulness.
