Abstract of Obituary.

 
Services for Donald Gerald Ondruch, 61, of Bellville were held Sept 15 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek with the Rev Bernard Snock officiating. Burial followed at St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek.

Ondruch died Sept 10 in Bellville.

He was born Nov 1, 1938 in East Bernard, Tx the son of Walter and Viola (Holub) Ondruch. He was raised in Frydek and attended St Mary's Catholic School, Sealy High School and the University of Texas in Austin.

Ondruch was united in marriage with Sandra Wine on May 27, 1989 in Sealy. He worked as an engineer in the road construction business for Williams Bros. Construction Co in Houston for 11 years and the Tx Dept of Hwys and Public Transportation for 30 years. He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek.

Survivors include his wife of Bellville; his parents of Frydek; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy and Peter Smith of Minneapolis, Mn, and Terri and Bruce Cason of Sealy; three sons, Michael Ondruch of Houston; Jason Ondruch of San Marcos and A J McConnell of Bellville; a sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Henry C Machala of Stafford; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Jr and Paula Ondruch and David and Cathy Ondruch, all of Frydek, and James and Donna Ondruch of Normangee; and four grandchildren, Benjamin and Emily Smith, and Kayla and Meghan Cason.

Pallbearers were John Ernstes, John Allen, and Benny Ondruch, Darrell Sullivan, Joey Krchnak, Henry and Scott Machala, and Dominic Zientek.

Honorary Pallbearers were Lloyd Ernstes, Ronnie Wine, and the employees of Williams Bros Construction.

Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy, directors.
