Victoria Advocate May 26, 2002 She was born Dec. 18, 1915, in Lavaca County, to the late Anthony George and Julia Klara Ressler Satsky. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and of Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville. Survivors: daughter, Janice Kallus of Hallettsville; sons, Roger E. Opela of Hallettsville; sisters, Julia Buck of Florence and Jane Webb of Burnet; brother, Tony Satsky of Marble Falls; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Rudolph Charles "Rudy" Opela, infant-son, Lester James Opela; two brothers, Joseph Satsky and Victory Satsky; one step-great-grandchild; and parents. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel and 4 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Services will be 4:30 p.m. Monday at the church in Hallettsville, the Rev. John Peters officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, 361-798-3271.
