Wilson County News 7 May 2003 1925-2003 She was born to August and Elizabeth Alma (Haack) Hartmann on Feb. 7, 1925, in Dewees, Texas. In December 1940, she mar-ried Albert Rauch in La Vernia, Texas. On July 5, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, she married Robert Frank Ortmann, who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1983. She worked in the meat department at H.E.B. She also worked for Wilson Memorial Hospital in Floresville, Texas, as a dietician for 28 years. She retired in 1991. She attended Three Oaks Community School. She was a member of the Three Oaks Home Demonstration Club and TAPS (Volunteers at Floresville Nursing Center). She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Poth. She lived most of her life in Wilson County. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, in St. John's Lutheran Church in Poth. Pastors David Collins and Thomas Damrow officiated the services. Interment followed in the Flo-resville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney Kirk, Gene Hartmann, Walton Rehfeld, Ernest Hartmann, Clarence Hart-mann, and Marvin Roemer. Survivors include children Edwin "Eddy" Rauch and wife Patsy of
La Vernia, Mary Tieken and husband W.C. of Floresville, and Alberta
Landrum and husband Eugene of Waco, Texas; brother August Hartmann
of Floresville; sisters Agnes Kirk of Kingsville, Texas, and Lorene
Dismuke of Victoria, Texas; sister-in-law Johnny Ortmann Talbert of
San Antonio; grandchildren Keith Pruski of New York, Steven Pruski
of the Three Oaks community in Wilson County, Denise Nicholson and
husband Brian of Waco, Travis Landrum and wife Annette of Waco, and
Glenda Simons and husband Frank of Waco; stepgrandchildren David and
Becky Tieken of Oklahoma, Phyllis and Larry Bauer of Floresville,
John and Wendy Tieken of Floresville, Faye and Kenneth Heritage of
Fort Stockton, Texas, and Brandon Allen of La Vernia; great-
grandchildren Madison Pruski, James Landrum, Randy and Kristen
Landrum, and Dakota Simons; stepgreat-grandchildren Cody and Morgan
Tieken, and Courtney, Cullen, Brandon, and Brice Bauer, Clinton and
Hayley Tieken, Jacob and Kendra Heritage, and Ashley and Kaitlen
