Victoria Advocate July 18, 2002 She was born May 5, 1913, in Fayette County, to the late Dominic and Mary Kozmik Vydrzal. She was a homemaker and had worked for Cistern Store. She was a member of Cistern Catholic Church and St. Cyril Methodius Church. Survivors: daughters, Elsie Jasek of Moulton, Betty Danner of Austin and Kathy Craft of Dallas; son, Johnny Otahal of Austin; sisters, Pauline Havelka of Rosenberg and Vicki Matocha of Richmond; nine grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 17 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, John Otahal; parents; and one step-grandchild. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Friday at Smith Funeral home chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern, the Rev. Edward Bartsch officiating.
