Rev. Alphonse Benjamin Padalecki, 58, of Yorktown, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992.

Visitation was from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 at the Dellcrest Funeral Home chapel in San Antonio. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.

Funeral Mass was scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at St. Gerard's Church with Bishop David E. Fellhauer of Victoria officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Catholic Cemetery in St. Hedwig under the direction of Dellcrest Funeral Home, San Antonio.

The Rev. Padalecki was pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Yorktown. He was ordained Feb. 21, 1959, at the San Fernando Cathedral in San Antonio, and served in many diocese activities.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ignatius Joseph Padalecki, June 13, 1965; his mother, Annie Elizabeth Havel Padalecki, April 20, 1989; and a 3-month-old brother, Anthony Padalecki, Jan. 19, 1941.
