Merion Palasota, 90, of Waco died Monday January 29, 2001. Mass of Christian
burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at St. Louis Catholic
Church. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Wed. Jan 31 at Wilkerson-Hatch
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Palasota was born February 27, 1910, in Navasota, Texas. He married Annie Tusa on June 24, 1934 and she preceded him in death on June 5, 1997. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Vancie Muse, Josephine Canatella & Willie Falco; three brothers, Gus Palasota, Charlie Palasota and Sam Palasota. Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, Pete & Martha Palasota of
Waco, Vince & Alice Palasota of Waco; four sisters, Lena Zaboraski of Houston,
Fena DiCola of Houston, Mary Wostasczyk of Houston, & Angelina Cangemi of
Hearne; two brothers, John Palasota of Houston & Joe Palasota of Wellborn; six
