Victoria Advocate July 12, 2002 Karnes City - Pauline P. Palitza, 69, of Karnes City, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002. She was born July 17, 1932, in Coy City, to the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Kolodziej Pawelek. She was a retired caretaker and homemaker. She was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church. Survivors: daughters, Agnes E. Moody of Floresville; Rose M. Hopper of Sonora, Carrie Lynn Harris of New Braunfels, Bernice Eichman of La Vernia and Lucille S Smith an D Christie A. Pesina, both of Karnes City; sons, Michael L. Palitza and Felix J. Palitza, both of Karnes City; sister, Magdelina Pawelek of Karnes City; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: husband, Stanley Palitza; brother, Leo Pawelek; and parents. Visitation will begin 1 p.m. tonight at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, the Rev. Adrian Adamik officiating.
