Correa Pelham Parcus, formerly of Sealy, passed to a better place on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001, in Brookshire, Texas, where she had lived since 1991.

She was born in Rosebud, Texas, on Jan. 24, 1917, to Harris Gordy and Luta Kimbrough Pelham.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Gordon Parcus. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Jack Cox of Katy, granddaughter Stephanie Cox of Austin, sister Lucille Wagner, nieces Joan Wagner, both of Dallas and sister-in-law Mary Lou Pelham of Waco.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of Brookshire Nursing Center and the Vitas Healthcare Services Hospice staff whose loving care of their loved one was so expertly given.
