Ennis Daily News September 22, 2002 Mass of the Christian Burial for Alex A. Parma was celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday in St. John Catholic Church with Father Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Keever Chapel. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary with the following serving as pallbearers: Craig Parma, Michael Bennett, Daryl Parma, Anthony Parma and Scott Parma. Mr. Parma, 71, died Tuesday, September 17, 2002, at his home in Cedar Creek Lake. He was born Dec. 1, 1930 in Ennis, the son of Anthony A. and Vlasta Krutilek Parma. He was reared in Ennis and was a 1949 graduate of Ennis High School. In 1951 he entered the U.S. Air Force. He was discharged in 1953. He then attended Navarro Junior College and earned his BS at SMU. On Aug. 16, 1952 he was married to Nancy L. Griffen of Ennis. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. In 1984 they moved to Dallas. He was a chemist for Standard Brands for ten years. In 1969 he was employed by Southwest Securities, retiring in 1990. They then moved to Cedar Creek Lake. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City, the KJT, SOJST and the Mustang Club. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Cedar Creek Lake; a son and his wife,
Craig Alan and Linda Parma of Plano; two daughters, Barbara and her husband,
Michael Bennett of Plano and Phyllis L. Parma of Plano; a brother, Eugene Parma
