Abstract of Obituary

Funeral service for Ambrose Pavalock of Bleiberville were held at 10 am Weds Sept 13, 2000 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry with Rev Tim Busek celebrating the Funeral Mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr Pavalock passed away Sept 11 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston at the age of 66. Born March 20, 1934 in Plantersville, Tx, he was the son of Frank and Louise (Kolojoca) Pavalock. He grew up in Houston, graduating from St Thomas High School. He served his country in the US Army from 1954-1956 and was united in marriage with Doris Gottselig at Christ the King Catholic Church in Houston July 29, 1961. They made their home in Houston where he worked as a trucking dispatcher in the building supply business. They have made their home in Bleiberville since the early 1970's and have been members of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Industry.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Pavalock of Bleiberville; children, Gary Pavalock of Columbus, Amber Baird of Sugarland and Tanya Bailey of Irving; grandchildren, Sloane, Megan and Taylor Pavalock of Columbus, Mitchell and Nicholas Baird of Sugarland; sister, Dorothy Tench of Reklaw, Tx; brother Raymond Pavalock of Katy; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Serving as pallbearers were Jose Alonso Jr, Frankie Delcastillo, Jack Waters, Todd Reynolds, Terry Lunsford and Ronney Nichols. Honorary pallbearer was Douglas Spain.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville.
