Waco Tribune-Herald July 18, 2001 Mary Pavelka, 81, of Axtell, passed away Monday, July 16, at her home in Axtell. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor Walter Albers officiating. Burial will be at Pavelka Cemetery in Elk. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, at the funeral home. (Bellmead Funeral Home) Mary, the youngest of six children, was born October 9, 1919, in Limestone County, to August and Francisca Pospisil. She married Adolph Pavelka September 25, 1937, and he preceded her in death July 11, 1994. Mrs. Pavelka retired from Owen-Illinois Glass Plant after 24 1/2 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son, Richard Pavelka and wife Kathey of Axtell; daughter Cindy Boyett and husband Alton of Waco; brother Joe Pospisil of Axtell; six grandchildren, Angie Buro, Rick Pavelka, Rob Pavelka, Candice Sawyers, Amy Carlton and Michael Boyett; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Clyde Buro, Rick Pavelka, Rob Pavelka, Mike Sawyers, Michal Boyett, Jerry Vicha. Honorary pallbearers will be Bart and Bobbie Richardson.
