Funeral services for Judith Rita Pavlica, 74, of Praha were held Feb. 3 in the Praha Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward Bartsch officiating. Burial was in the Praha Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Pavlica died Jan. 31 in Praha.

She was born in Praha Oct. 24, 1923, the daughter of the late Adolph Sr. and Agnes (Bily) Fajkus. She was united in marriage with Emil Pavlica in Praha Oct. 6, 1947. The couple celebrated their golden wedding last October.

Surviving are her husband, Emil Pavlica of Praha; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Benedict Kallus of Hostyn; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Theresa Pavlica of Praha; three sisters, Lillian Mazoch of Ammannsville and Mary Ann Kokes and Georgia Wendel, both of Houston; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Funeral services were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home of Flatonia.
