Edward J. Pavlicek, 58, of Houston, died Sunday, March 12, 2000. He was born May 10, 1941, in Moulton, to Vlasta ``Rehak'' Pavlicek of Moulton and the late Herbert Pavlicek. He was a retired construction manager at Southwestern Bell. He was a Catholic. He served four years as a U.S. Army Pvt. and E-1 Field Radio repairman. He was a 30-year member of K.C. Council No. 5678 of Houston.

Survivors: wife, Annette Pavlicek; daughters, Linda Pavlicek and Diane Pavlicek, both of Houston; sons, Daryl Pavlicek and Arnold Pavlicek, both of Houston; mother; sisters, Myrtle Hunter of Eagle Lake, Jo Ann Welfl of Houston, Kathy Dornak of Austin and Lorrie Janecek of Moulton; brother, David Pavlicek of Eagle Lake.

Preceded in death by: father; brother, Harvey Pavlicek.

A rosary was recited 7 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home chapel.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, the Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Moulton, (361) 596-4631.

Pallbearers: George Kallus, Celso Ruiz, Bradley Pavlicek, Jim Fox, Dennis Pavlicek and George Simecek.
Honorary pallbearers: Fred Barley, Bill Quinn, Shane Dornak, Curtis Hunter, Glenn Pavlicek and Brian Pavlicek.

Memorials: K.C. Council No. 5678 of Houston.
