Taylor Daily Press Taylor, Texas 1955 Ignac Pavlicek Dies Unexpectedly Ignac Pavlicek, 67 a retired farmer who had lived in this community for 50 years, died unexpectedly at noon Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fritz Wernli, Rt. 2, Taylor. Mr. Pavlicek was born July 25, 1883 in Czechoslovakia and came to the United States with his parents when he was 6 months old. They settled in Lavaca County. On Jan. 12, 1908 he was married to Miss Mary Holubec, who survives him. He was a member of the Brethren Church and the SPJST Lodge. Survivors besides his widow, Mrs. Ignac Pavlicek of Taylor, are three sons, Felix Pavlicek of Rosenberg, Clarence Pavlicek and Julius Pavlicek, both of Taylor, a daughter, Mrs. Fritz Wernli of Taylor, a sister Mrs. Joe Vydrzal of Richmond, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Pavlicek, who died in 1931. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am in the Condra Memorial Chapel
with the Rev. Frank Svoboda officating. Burial will be in Taylor City Cemetery.
