Henrietta J. Pavliska, age 78, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2001, at Eagle Lake, Texas.

Christian Wake services were held at 7 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2001, at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour, with Friar Richard Eldredge officiating.

Interment was in the SPJST Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pavliska was born March 10, 1923 in Baylor County, Texas, to August and Carrie Wasek Ermis. She married Raymond V. Pavliska on June 24, 1946 in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1998. She worked for the Seymour School Cafeteria for many years, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Rusch of Odessa, Texas; by one son, Eddie Joe Pavliska of Eagle Lake, Texas; by one sister, Irene Case of Granbury, Texas; by two brothers, Wesley Ermis of Edmond, Oklahoma and Eugene Ermis of Wichita Falls, Texas; and by six grandchildren.
