Hallettsville Tribune 9 Aug 1938 Former Halletville Resident Expires at Highland Home Sunday Funeral services for Mrs. Adolph Pechacek, 77, a former longtime resident of Halletsville whose death occurred Sunday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henry Fraizer of the Highland section, were held Tuesday, August 9, with her nephew the Rev. A. Raska of El Campo officiating at Requiem High Mass at the Sacred Heart Church Here. The deceased was born in 1864 in Frelsburg in 1883 she was united in marriage to Adolph Pechacek. She resided during her married life variously at Witting, Pagel place and Halletsville. Survivors include four sons, Adolf of Yoakum, Joe and Otto of Houston, Emil of Rowena, three daughters, Mrs. Clara Fraizer of Highland, Mrs. Frank Grahmann of Halletsville, Mrs. James E. Hermes of New Braunfels, two sisters Mrs Peter Raska of Yoakum, Mrs. Laura Mitchell of San Antonio and a sister- in-law, Mrs. Mary Berkenhoff of Halletsville in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
