Mrs. Agnes Pechacek, 79, of Hallettsville, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1975, in a San Antonio hospital.

The body lay in state at Kubena Funeral Home until 9 a.m. Monday when it was taken to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Stanley Petru officiated with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mrs. Pechacek was born March 6, 1896 in Lavaca County. She was married to Fritz Pechacek in 1915 in Hallettsville. He died in 1929.

Survivors include two sons, Paul of San Antonio and Ambrose of Laguna Vista, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Victor Kraus, Mrs. Jerome Holub and Mrs. Colice Picard, all of San Antonio, and Mrs. Ray Maris of Billings, Mont.; a brother, Henry Bludau of Hallettsville; a sister, Mrs. Alphonse Leopold of Hallettsville, 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
