Houston Chronicle 2 Feb 1999 Raymond Edward Pechacek Sr.,83, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, January 30, 1999 at his residence in The Woodlands. Raymond worked as a professional engineer, retiring from Hahn and Clay as a Vice President after 31 years of employment. He was a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers-Texas Chapter. A member of Gathsemane Lutheran Church for over 44 years, member of The Presidents Council of Lutheran Social Services of The South and currently a member of Living Word Lutheran Church, The Woodlands. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie Pfluger Pechacek. Daughters: Patsy Klaus and her husband Pat of Alexandria, Va, Jane Moeller and husband Roy of Austin, Tx., Linda Andron and husband Leo of Kure Beach, NC. Son: Raymond E. Pechacek, Jr., of Plano, Tx. Daughter: Debra Parks and husband William of The Woodlands. Brothers: John Pechacek and Frank Pechacek, 14 Grandchildren. Services for Raymond will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4040 Watonga. Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday, February 1, 1999 at the Funeral Home with the family present from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
