Tillie Sablatura, age 75 years, 1 month and 18 days of El Campo died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1995.

The parish rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Triska Funeral Home Chapel and the Catholic Daughters Rosary at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20 prior to the services held at 10:30 a.m. in St. Philip's Catholic Church with the Revs. Les Vance and Joe Koebel officiating.

Burial was in Holy Cross Memorial Park under the direction of Triska Funeral Home, El Campo.

Pallbearers were Danny Sklar, Tim Duyka, Anthony Duyka, B.J. Sablatura, Richard Filip and Ed. Sabrsula.

She was born Dec. 20, 1919 in Wharton to Ruth Adamik Duyka and the late Joe Duyka. She was employed by Your Place Trading Center. She was a Catholic and member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Springer of Houston; son, Charles Sablatura of Round Rock; sisters, Lillie Sklar of Wharton and Christine Mican of East Bernard; brothers, Raymond Duyka and Rudolph Duyka, both of Wharton, and Anton Duyka of Eagle Lake; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sablatura; one son, Mike Sablatura; two brothers; and a granddaughter.
