Herald Coaster Internet Edition Aug 30, 2001 Mr. Anton Adolph Sabrsula, 77, of Boling, a former long-time resident of Rosenberg, died late Monday night, Aug. 27, 2001, in a Wharton hospital following an extended illness. Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 at the Wharton Funeral Home, 515 Boling Highway in Wharton. He was born on Aug. 10, 1934 in Needville, the son of Adolph George and Ludmila Muniza Sabrsula. Mr. Sabrsula was a heavy equipment operator and also worked for Trees of Houston for 10 years before his retirement in 1983. He had been a resident of Boling since 1975 and was a member of the Abell Street Church of Christ in Wharton. He married Willie Mae Mahlmann on Sept. 1, 1954 in Rosenberg. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Abell Street Church of Christ in Wharton with Gene Polvado officiating. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. His survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Sabrsula of Boling; his daughters, Diane Gustavez and Linda Holly, both of Houston, and Patricia Ramsey of Wharton; a son, William E. "Billy" Bennett of Rosenberg; seven sisters, three brothers, 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
