Banner Press June 15, 2000 Abstract of Obituary Funeral services for Marcella Sabrsula, 89, of Bellville, formerly of Wallis, were held June 7 at Bellville United Methodist Church with the Rev Roy Biser and Mr Jack Long, co-officiating. Burial followed at Hartsville Cemetery near Wallis. She died on June 4 in Bellville. She was born Feb 12, 1911 in Industry, Tx., the daughter of Leo and Anna (Petrusek) Jan. She married Joe Sabrsula on Nov 8, 1938 in Sealy. She was raised in the Frydek area and attended school in Mixville. She was a homemaker and member of Sealy Chapter SPJST and Bellville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, JoNell Sabrsula; 3 brothers, Orville, Lamar and Emil Jan; and 3 sisters, Rosie Kalenia, Emily Tekyl and Leonitna Jan. Survivors include her son, J D and wife Jackie Sabrsula of Bellville; a sister, Adella Marek of Port Lavaca; a brother, Alvin Jan of Pleak; X-Mozilla-Status: 0009an Quintero, Sharon Sue Smith, Tammy Sabrsula and Kelly Deutrich; and 5 great-grandchildren, Michael and David Quintero, Jeffrey and Trevor Harper, and Parker Ray Smith. Pallbearers were Lee Sandoval Jr, Tommy Smith, Michael Luce, Tony Hancock, Al Jr and Danny Jan,Frank Tekyl and Jamie Reber.
