Victoria Advocate online Sunday September 09, 2001 Annie Mae Strnad Saski, 72, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2001. She was born April 11, 1929, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Stanley Vincent and Matilda Hosek Strnad. She was a lifelong resident of Victoria. She was co-owner of Saski Crane and Equipment Rental. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Mrs. Saski is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Boatright; sons, Larry Frank Saski, Marvin Allan Saski and Roger Dale Saski, all of Victoria; nine grandchildren, Robert Boatright, Shierl Boatright, Lara Saski, Lisa Saski, Justin Cole Saski, Lana Saski, Denver Saski, Blake Saski and Riley Ann Saski; one great-grandchild, Gannon Cole Boatright. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Frank Saski and her granddaughter, Madison Saski, a sister Bertha Pribyl, and brothers Stanley Strand, Benjamin J. Strnad and Charlie Strnad. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 9, 2001, at 7:00 P.M. at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral Services will be Monday, September 10, 2001, at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral, Msgr. Michael Harrold officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
