Johnny D. Satsky, 78, of Hallettsville, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000. He was born Dec. 17, 1921, in Lavaca County, to the late John Kleofas and Emma Agnes Janda Satsky. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and VFW of Hallettsville. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Hallettsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors: wife, Ann Bujnoch Satsky; daughters, Judith Kathryn Rodgers of Richmond and Jean Marie Haase of Shawnee, Colo.; sons, Gilbert Joseph Satsky of Fairchilds and Michael Anthony Satsky of Hallettsville; and nine grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: daughter, Jennifer Louise Satsky; parents; brother, Leo L. Satsky.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel and at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. John Peters officiating. Burial will be at Weid Cemetery.
