Alfons (Boots) Schilhab, 61, of Plum area, formerly of Schulenburg, died Sept. 20 in Temple.

Funeral services will be held Sept. 22 in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Plum with Rev. James R. Nischan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The son of William Otto and Martha (Schlabach) Schilhab. He was united in marriage with Betty Ann Supak July 7, 1962 in Plum. Member of Sts. Peter an Paul Catholic Church, Plum.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Schilhab of Plum, one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Mark Genzer of La Grange; one son and daughter-in-law, William and Brenda Schilhab of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Kacie and Harley Genzer and Kerek and Brittany Schilhab; one brother, Erwin and his wife Juanita Schilhab of Uvalde; one sister, Olivia and her husband N.J. Guilbeaux of Edna; sister-in-law, Verdean Schilhab of Schulenburg; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Douglas and Polly Supak of La Grange.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Schilhab, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Louise Supak.
