Fayette County Record Jan. 30, 1998 Abstract of Obituary Funeral services for Martha Schilhab, 90, of Schulenburg were held Jan. 24 in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg with Father Tim Kosler officiating. Burial was in Hhigh Hill Catholic Cemetery in High Hill. Mrs. Schilhab died Jan. 22 in LaGrange. She was born on March 29, 1907 in High Hill, the daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (Vivial) Schlibah. She was united in marriage with William Otto Schilhab on Oct. 17, 1928. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Olivia and N.J. Guilbeaux of Edna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Erwin and Juanita Schilhab of Uvalde and Alfons and Betty Schilhab of Plum; one daughter-in-law, Verdean Schilhab of Schulenburg; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William, one son Robert, four sisters, three brothers and one great-great-grandchild. Schwenke-Baumgarden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
