Schley, 75, of Fayetteville were held Wed Jan 23 2002 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange with burial in La Grange City Cemetery. Rev Msgr Harry Mazurkiewicz officiated. Schley died Jan 21 in La Grange. He was born Nov 19 1926 in Fayetteville the son of Joe and Minnie Mascheck Schley. He married Emma Pauler Jan 6 1954 in Schulenburg. He was retired after 31 years with the RC Cola Company and worked as a custodian at the La Grange Knights of Columbus Hall since 1986. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Chromcik Council #2574, Holy Name Society, SPJST, and Sons of Herman Lodge 152 of Rutersville. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Emma Schley of Fayetteville; one daughter, Catherine Schley and fiancee, Preston Beggs of La Grange; two sisters, Adela Skalitsky and husband John of Fayetteville and Gladys Herr and husband Wilbert of Bleiblerville; three sisters-in-law, Agnes Hertel of Schulenburg, Martha Sommer and husband Walter of Eagle Lake, and Edna Skypala of Temple; brother-in-law, Henry Pauler and wife Evelyn of Schulenburg; two grandchildren, Jessy Byrd and Preslee Spencer; and two stepgranchildren, Preston Wayne and Dakota Beggs. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law; and father-in-law and mother-in-law. Koenig and Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange was in charge of
