Emil F. Schmidt Rites Conducted

Hallettsville. Funeral services for Emil F. Schmidt, 65, were held here with the Rev. Henry Smith officiating. Burial was in the Moulton City Cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt was a rural route carrier for Route 3 at Hallettsville, which he had served for the past four years. Prior to this time he had served on Rt. 4 at Hallettsville for about 15 years.

Surviving are his widow; three sons: William A. Schmidt of Hallettsville, R. V. Schmidt of Corpus Christi and Emil R. Schmidt of Kirkwood, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Farris of Palmdale, Calif., Mrs. Herbert Russell of Rio Alto, Calif., and Mrs. H. M. Rice of El Sobrante, Calif.; three sisters: Mrs. Hilda Dagg of Yoakum, Mrs. Ad. Bauer of Ganado and Mrs. Fred Krause of Three Rivers, and 20 grandchildren.
