Bay City - Della June Jurek Schneider, 82, of Bay City, died Saturday, June 8, 2002.

She was born June 3, 1920, in Bay City, to the late Steve and Liddie Marie Karasek Jurek. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church of Bay City.

Survivors: daughters, Janice Kopnicky and Linda Kelley, both of Bay City; sisters, Lillie Bohuslav of Markham, Bertha Vonderau of Wharton and Lena Hill of Boling; brother, Hubert Jurek of Pasadena; and five grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Edgar Schneider; daughter, Jean Schneider; sister, Johnnie Mae Myers; brothers, Victor Jurek, Henry Jurek, John Jurek and Eddie Jurek; and parents.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church of Bay City, the Rev. Sam Steele officiating.
