Victoria Advocate February 27, 2003 Flatonia - Joseph A. Schoenweitz, 93, of Flatonia, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2003. He was born Sept. 19, 1909, in Flatonia, to the late Frank and Cecilia Nesrsta Schoenweitz. He was a barber and a Catholic. Survivors: wife, Esther Maeker Schoenweitz; and sister, Marie Skolnik of Staplehurst, Neb. Preceded in death by: parents; one sister; and two brothers. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at Smith Funeral Home chapel in Flatonia. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, the Rev. Charles Carolan officiating.
