The Banner Press April 20, 2000 Abstract of Obituary. Funeral services for Cassidy Louise Schoppe, 13, of Sealy were held April 13 at First Baptist Church in Sealy with the Rev. Merle Blado officiating. Burial followed at Pattison Cemetery in Pattison. She died April 10 in Wallis. She was born Sept 12, 1986 in Bellville, the daughter of Doug and Elizabeth Jean (Miller) Schoppe. She was raised in Sealy and attended Sealy Junior High School. She attended Sealy Assembly Word and Worship Center in Sealy. Survivors include her father of Columbus; mother of Sealy; sister, Bethany Schoppe of Sealy; brother, David Schoppe of Sealy; grandparents, David and Jan Miller, PeeWee and Elizabeth Schoppe, all of Sealy; great-grandmother, Tekla Zapalac of Sealy; brother-in-law, Shannon Majewski of Sealy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers were Tracie Kessler, David and D. J. Knesek, Chip and Donnie Schoppe, Allen and Daniel Harding and Waylon Hinze. Funeral handled by Knesek Family Funeral Chapel of Sealy.
