Lifelong resident of Houston.

Survivors: Brothers, Rev. Charles K. Schoppe, Houston, Conrad J. Schoppe, Houston, Francis L. Schoppe; sisters, Mrs. A.G. Fabre, New Orleans, Miss Beatrice M. Schoppe, Houston; Mrs. W.J. O'Rourke, Jr., Houston; 23 nieces and nephews.

Services 11 a.m. Thursday Saint Andrews Church. His Ordination Class Nates at St. Mary's Seminary class of 1956 will be co-celebrating the mass and serving as pallbearers.
