Funeral services for Cecilia O. Schuette, 90, of Frelsburg were held May 7 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Frelsburg, with the Rev. Wayne Flagg officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Schuette died May 4 in Columbus. Mrs. Schuette was born Dec. 21, 1907, the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Wilhelmina (Buxkemper) Meyer. She was united in marriage with Peter R. Schuette Nov. 21, 1927. Mrs. Schuette was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Martinek of Columbus; three grandchildren and their spouses, Douglas and Barbara Martinek, Nina and Glenn Holub and Joe and Sharon Martinek, all of Frelsburg; seven great-grandchildren, Travis Martinek, Cheryl, Nathan and Christine Holub and Karissa, Jessica and Bryson Martinek; and one brother, Water Meyer of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter E. Schuette on Jan. 30, 1970 and her son-in-law, Arnold Martinek.

Funeral services were under the director of the Henneke Funeral Home of Columbus.
