Fayette County Record Page 14 Oct 30 2001 Funeral services for Robert A. Schultz, 81, of New Ulm were held Wed Oct 31 2001 at 2PM at St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial followed in the Frnka Cemetery near New Ulm. Rev. Bill Mosley officiated. Schultz died Oct 28 in Bellville Hospital. Born June 2 1920 in Somerville, he was the son of Robert G. and Lydia Maurer Schultz. He married Ruth Mae Frnka June 15 1946 in Brenham. He lived in Houston over 35 years before retiring to Brenham. He owned and operated several businesses in Houston. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm, New Ulm Volunteer Fire Department, Sons of Hermann Lodge No. 70 in New Ulm, Austin County Farm Bureau, and the SPJST Lodge No 88 of Houston. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Ruth Frnka Schultz; one daughter, Kathy Lynn Easterling; one son, Jack Schultz; three grandchildren, Janice K. Schultz, Robert Edwards and wife Kim and Randy Easterling; three great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn N. Marshall, Amanda K. Schultz, and Karissa M. Edwards; and two sisters, Elda Mae Reichle and Beulah Feist. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leroy Schultz. Koenig and Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange was in charge of
