Gonzales -- Rosie G. Schumann, 89, of Gonzales, died Saturday, March 30, 2002.

She was born March 26, 1913, in Gonzales County, to the late Frank Kuntschik and Agnes Gast. She was a homemaker and Catholic.

Survivors: daughters, Madaline Glover of Luling, Doris Nadeau of Tampa and Margie Haegelin of LaPryor; sisters, Hattie Lesak and Mariella Frederick, both of Gonzales; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home chapel. Preceded in death by: husband, Ted Schumann; and parents.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Gonzales, the Rev. Linen Naffett officiating. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
