Shiner Gazette 13 Oct 1983 Final Rites For Albert Schutz Funeral services for Albert J. Schutz of Rt. 1, Moulton, who died about 6:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 1983, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton. The Rev. Robert Schmidt officiated. Burial was in the Moulton Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Rudy Oehl of Pearland, Edward Liebicher, Victor Kubicek, Alphonse Simper, Willie L. Kloesel and Willibald Kleihege. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 at the Smith Funeral Home in Moulton where the body rested in state. Mr. Schutz, an industrious farmer-rancher, was born July 3, 1901 on the family farm in the Scott School community, Fayette County, Texas, son of John and Anna (Oehl) Schutz. When he was three years old, the family moved nearer to Moulton. He attended Baursville School and St. Joseph Parochial School. In 1940, the Schutz family moved to their farm in the Henkhaus community where they had since resided. He attained the age of 82 years and 3 months. Surviving are his sister, Miss Bertha Schutz of Rt. 1, Moulton; one aunt Mrs. Lillie Schutz of Moulton; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Oct. 16, 1947; and his mother, Jan.
