Flatonia - Arnold Richard Tauch, 94, of Flatonia, died Monday, June 16, 2003.

He was born Nov. 26, 1908, in Flatonia, to the late Paul and Anna Kurz Tauch. He was a railroad signalman and Methodist. Survivors: wife, Martha Tauch; sons, Arnold C. Tauch of Houston and David R. Tauch of Flatonia; sister, Anita Tauch Steinhauser of Flatonia; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: sister, Ella Sievers Tauch; and brother, Herman Tauch.

Visitation begins at noon today at Smith Funeral Home chapel.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, the Rev. Andy Smith officiating.

Burial will be Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia. Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, 361-865-3311.
