Funeral services for Martha F (Kubecka) Taylor, 84, of La Grange were held May 13 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn with Msgr Stanley Petru officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She died May 10 in La Grange. She was born Oct 13, 1915 in Rabbs Prairie, Tx, the daughter of John and Mary (Ryza) Kubecka. She married Clinton A Taylor on Nov 19, 1935 in Plum.

She was a member of KJZT, Living Rosary Society, past member of the Altar Society in Hostyn and affiliated with Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 brothers, John Kubecka, Jr. of El Campo, Edward Kubecka of La Grange; sister-in-law, Jennie Kubecka of La Grange and Bessie Kubecka of Plum; 2 sisters, Mary Bordovsky and husband Joseph of Ft Worht, Lidmilla Kubecka of Warrenton; brother-in-law, Paul Walla, Sr of Plum; and a half brother-in-law, Lloyd Taylor of Austin.

Survivors include 3 sons, John Taylor, Sr of Austin, Clint Taylor Jr and wife JoNell of La Grange, and Walter Lee Taylor and wife Janice of San Antonio; a sister, Agnes Walla of Plum; 2 brothers, Alfred Kubecka of Plum, and Lawrence Kubecka and wife Pearl of Goleta, Cal.; a half brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law, Howard Taylor and wife Minnie of La Grange, and Pauline Taylor of Austin; 6 grandchildren, Clinton Taylor III, Stephen Taylor and wife Jerri of La Grange, John Taylor Jr of Austin, James Taylor and wife Rosario of Port Isabel, Deanna Bird and husband John of Allen, Donna Rudolph and husband Ted of Ridgeland, Mn.; and 12 great-grandchildren, Clinton IV, Jay and wife Jamie Taylor of La Grange, Cassondra and wife Christine Byrd of Allen, Megan and Jordan Taylor of Austin, James Jr and Tiffany Taylor of Port Isabel, Ashley, Andrew and Elizabeth Rudolph of Ridgeland, Mn.

Pallbearers were Clinton III, Clinton IV, John Jr, James and Stephen Taylor and Mark Rausl.

Funeral handled by Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange.
