Warrenton, Va. -- Eva Elizabeth Machac Tenberg, 82, of Warrenton, Va. and formerly of Bay City, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000.

She was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Yoakum, to the late Frank and Annie Machac. She was a retired school teacher and member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay City and its altar society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Delta Kappa Gamma Society and the Matagorda County Teacher's Credit Union.

Survivors: son, Max Tenberg of Warrenton, Va.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Ben Tenbert; and brother, Johnny Machac.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home chapel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating.

Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Van Vleck. Taylor
