Funeral services for George A. Thuemler, 88, of LaGrange were held Dec. 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Hostyn. The Rev. Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz officiated.

Mr. Thuemler died Dec. 19 in LaGrange. Born Feb. 2, 19100 in Ammannsville, he was the son of Henry and Pauline (Richter) Thuemler. He married Henrietta Hrachovy on Jan. 8, 1945. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors in clued his wife, Henrietta Thuemler of LaGrange; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Milton Luecke of Humble; one granddaughter, Connie Sue Luecke of Pensacola, FL; one brother Henry Thuemler of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral Arrangements were under the direction of Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home of LaGrange.
