Funeral services for John Edward Toman, 62, of Rosenberg, were held Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg with Rev. Wencil Pavlovsky officiating.

Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rosenberg. A rosary was recited Thursday at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.

Mr. Toman died June 17, 2003, at his residence.

He was born July 28, 1940 in Houston to Steve R. and Norma Smith Toman.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Mr. Toman retired after 33 years from WKM-Missouri City.

Survivors include wife, Janice Toman; children and their spouses, Cindy and Dennis Heiman, Jackie and Bully Mercer, Nancy and Perry McCain, Becky and Paul Donham, Gerald and Bobbie Toman and John (BJ) Toman Jr.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; mother, Norma Smith Toman; brothers, Charles Toman and James Toman; sisters and their spouses, Carolyn and Clyde Grimit, Elrose and Jimmy Kresta and Marilyn and Fred Iosue; sisters-in-laws, Margie Toman and Bernadette Toman; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Vision 2011, 1416 George Street, Rosenberg, Texas 77471.
