Shiner Gazette 9 Oct 1980 Treptow Rites In Beeville
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 in Galloway and Sons Chapel, Beeville, with the Rev. George Stewart officiating. Interment followed in Glenwood Cemetery with William Koether, W.H. Peterson, Morris Winkle, Paul W. III, Max and Ben Treptow, serving as pallbearers. Mr. Treptow was born Jan. 6, 1897 in Hallettsville, the son of Fritz Albert and Anna (Kinkler) Treptow. On June 9, 1921 he was married to Elizabeth "Ellie" Kubala in Beeville. For 14 years he had owned a grocery business in Beeville. He was also a farmer and rancher and had lived in Bee County for 65 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ellie Treptow of Beeville; one
son, Paul W. Treptow Jr. of Kingsville; three grandsons; three
brothers, Henry and Hilmar Treptow, both of Hallettsville and Albert
