WILHELMINE (SCHORNACK) TREPTOW

 

Mrs. Wilhelmine (John W.) Treptow passed away Tuesday, May 18, 1965 at 8:15 a.m. at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 8 days at the home of Mr. And Mrs. L. C. Boethel of Weimar.

She was a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. John Schornack and was married to John W. Treptow, December 6, 1893, who passed away in 1917.

She was born at Frelsburg, Texas on July 9, 1875. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sublime, Texas. She was from a family of 11 children.

Mrs. Treptow was blessed with 9 children, 2 dying in infancy and, one son Charles, who passed away in 1955. Six children survive her. Those surviving are:

4 sons: Victor Treptow of Shiner,
Willie Treptow of Yoakum
Alfred and Bennett Treptow of Hallettsville
2 daughters: Mrs. Henry (Anita) Heiman of Schulenburg,
Mrs. L. C. (Helen) Boethel of Weimar.
9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren


2 sisters: Mrs. Martha Miller of Pasadena, Texas
Mrs. Selma Sternadel of Yoakum, Texas
