Funeral services for Hattie (Vacek) Krenek Trilicek, 82, of Garwood were held Feb 4 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Nada with Fr Joe Koebel officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She died Feb 2 in Wharton. She was born Oct 2, 1917 in Taiton, the daughter of Joe and Frances (Drapela) Vacek. She was united in marriage first with Monroe Krenek. She then married A. W. Trilicek on Dec 8, 1991.

She had lived in the Garwood area for 56 years. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church in Nada and Catholic Daughters Court of Our Lady of the Rosary 1595 of Nada.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband; brother, Raymond Vacek; sisters, Frances Kaminski, Annie Mae Mensik.

Survivors include her husband; son, Bill R Krenek and wife Sue of Garwood; 2 grandsons, Todd Krenek and wife lisa and Clint Krenek; sisters, Ellen Warren of Spring; brothers, Joe Vacek Sr of El Campo, Ludy Vacek of Rosenberg, Louie Vacek of Bellville and Johnnie Vacek of Rosenberg; step-daugers, Barbara Valchar of Houston, Becky Dunaway of Meridian, Id. and Annette Chamberlain of Richmond; stepson, Michael Trilicek of Needville; and step-great-grandson, Clayton Watz.

Pallbearers were Todd Krenek, Clint Krenek, Larry Kaminski, Terry Warren, Glen Frels and Dr Gerald Frels.

Funeral handled by Henneke Funeral Home of Columbus.
