Funeral services for Eleonora V (Woellert) Trlicek, 82, of Mullins Prairie were held Jan 19 at Sergeant Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev Dennis Bragdon officiating. Burial followed in the La Grange City Cemetery.

She died Jan 17 at Fayette Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb 14, 1917 near Schulenberg, the daughter of Joe and Annie (Schappan) Woellert.

She worked for the Cottonwood Inn for many years where she worked as a cook and waitress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Viola Meadow; and son-in-law, Wilbert "Whip" Mitschke.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Dorothy Shaw and Agnes Mitschke of Mullins Prairie; 2 sons, Jimmie "Butch" Trlicek of League City; brother, Alfons Woellert of Markam; sister, Angela Glueck of Glidden; 2 sisters-in-law, Julie Hentschel and Mollie Kaehler of La Grange; 9 great-grandchildren; and 8 grandchildren, Tammy, Pam, Tracey, Wanda, Todd, Daryl, Gary and Chris.
