Ennis Daily News February 11, 2002 Mr. Trojacek's nephews Michael and T.J. Trojacek served as altar servers. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Keever Chapel. Deacon Dean Darnell led the rosary. Good Shepherd Hospice Chaplain, Dan Rogers, gave the eulogy. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary with Mr. Trojacek's grandchildren serving as pallbearers: Jason Trojacek, Jeremy Trojacek, Nathan Wensowitch, David Willingham, Bethany Trojacek, Andrea Wensowitch, Joshua Rutherford, and Danielle Rutherford. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren: Melanie Hanson, Madisen Trojacek, Sarah Trojacek, Hannah Trojacek, Rodney Rickman, Steven Rickman, and his great-grandchildren: Raylee and Jonas Rickman. Mr. Trojacek died peacefully Feb. 8, 2002 at his home in Creechville after a six-month battle with cancer. He was born July 8, 1932 in Telico, the son of Anton J. and Frances Vrla Trojacek. He was reared in the Creechville Community where he attended school. He was a graduate of Ennis High School. After graduating he worked on the family farm. On May 2, 1953 he was married to Mildred Pauline Betik. Mr. Trojacek entered the army on July 8, 1953. He was in the 82 Airborne and stationed at Fort Bliss and later transferred to Fort Bragg, N.C. Mrs. Trojacek moved with him. After being discharged from the service, they returned to Ennis and lived on the Trojacek family farm in a house built by Mr. Trojacek's grandfather Vrla in the Creechville area. They remodeled the house and began raising a family with the values and traditions of their Czech heritage. He worked as a carpenter and for Leggett & Platt. Later he was employed as a cutting torch operator for A. Gunthard Co., for 30 years, retiring in 1986. He then worked for Golden Circle Herb Farm in Rice. He sold his home grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and mints at the Dallas and Corsicana Farmers Markets for many, many years. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the KJT, SPJST #15 and the RVOS #51. Adolph is survived by his wife, Mildred, of Ennis; three sons and their wives, Danny R. and Laura Trojacek of Mission Viejo, Calif. Mark Trojacek of Telico, Greg and Terri Trojacek of Corsicana; three daughters and their husbands, Janis and Alex Wensowitch of Ennis, Judy and Tommy Rickman of Palmer, Kathy and Lance Rutherford of Telico; three brothers, Leslie Trojacek of Garrett, Jerry Trojacek of Ennis, Otto Trojacek of Garrett; a sister, Janie Vrana of Garrett; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Colette Trojacek; three sisters, Mary Trojacek, Ann Trojacek, and Albie Schubrick; and five brothers, John Trojacek, Johnnie Trojacek, Willie Trojacek, Anton Trojacek and Victor Trojacek. For a big man with a big smile, deep laugh and warm heart, our
Pa-paw enjoyed the simple things in life. He was truly loved and
will be deeply missed. As for now it is goodbye, but we all look
forward to the day we see our loved one again. As Pa-paw would say,
