He was born May 9, 1946, in El Campo, to Julius J. Tupa and Jonella Bilek of El Campo. He was a substitute rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a retired elementary school teacher. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and of the American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a past Cub Master for Boy Scouts of America. Survivors: wife, Lou Ann Lidiak Tupa; daughter, Jennifer Anne Tupa of Moulton; son, Jeffrey Adam Tupa of West Columbia; parents; and brother, Gary W. Tupa of El Campo. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Assumption Catholic church. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Joseph Hybner officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Ganado. Ganado
