Fayette County Record April 2, 2002 Ben and Margaret Tydlacka, 87 and 84, respectively, died one day apart. Ben died on March 26 [2002] and his wife, Margaret died the next day. A funeral service for the Tydlackas was held Monday, April 1 [2002] at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Interment was held in the West Gethsemane Cemetery in Rosenberg. Margaret Tydlacka died March 27 [2002] in Autumn Hills in Sugar Land. Born Aug. 24, 1917 in Latium, she was the daughter of Emil and Rosie (Sklar) Pisklak. A long time resident of Rosenberg, she retired after 29 years of service as a dietician and food service manager for Holy Rosary Catholic School in Rosenberg. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, K.J.Z.T., Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Altar Society, S.P.J.S.T. and the AARP. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Blackburn and husband Wayne; son, Michael Tydlacka and wife Mary Jane; grandchildren, John Blackburn and wife Kim, Kathy Childs and husband Damian, David Blackburn and fiancé Jacki; Jonathan, Nicholas, and Thomas Tydlacka; great-grandchildren, Kaylene and Bailey Childs, Krystal Blackburn; sister Alice and husband Robert Schumann; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Adolf Tydlacka and Ora; nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; baby daughter, Barbara; brother Joe Pisklak; and sister, Dorothy Richie. In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Carl Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX. 79174-0001 or the Holy Rosary Building fund - "Vision 2011."
