Funeral services for Herbert F Ullrich, 96, of Carmine were held March 30 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine with Pastor Paul Bohot officiating. Burial followed at LaBahia Cemetery near Round Top.

He died March 28 in La Grange. He was born Jan 27, 1904 in Winedale, the son of Adam and Lina (Birkelbach) Ullrich. He married Selma Kiel on Oct 26, 1927.

He was baptized Nov 13, 1904 by Rev Carl Baer, confirmed Sept 29, 1918 in Winedale by the Rev A H Falkenberg. He attended Winedale and La Bahia Schools. He was a retired farmer and affiliated with Martin Luther Lutheran Church. He was a member of the LaBahia Cemetery Assn. and a former member of Carmine Fire Dept and Farm Bureau.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a sister; 4 brothers; and a son, Lloyd Ullrich.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Lois and husband Delton Wunderlich of Shelby, Joyce and husband Howard Fuchs of Carmine; sister-in-law, Viola Ullrich of Carmine; 4 grandchildren, Terry and Nancy Wunderlich, Tammy and Kenneth Sodolak, Cynthia and Roy Wied, Jennifer and Larry Teinert; 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral handled by Foehner Funeral Home of Burton.
