Funeral services for Alfred Emil "Fritz"Urban Jr, 53, of Paige were held Fri Oct 6 at 2:30 pm at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Manheim. Burial was in the Giddings City Cemetery. The Rev Herbert Keistman officiated.

Mr Urban died Weds Oct 4 at Smithville Regional Hospital.

Born Aug 25, 1947 in Manheim, he was the son of Alfred Sr and Amanda (Jenke) Urban. He worked for Commercial Honing as a machinist.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Randy Carter of Houston; son, Rodney Urban and his ex-wife Donna Urban of Houston; grandchildren, Christopher Urban and Cassidy Carter; mother Amanda Urban of Manheim; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Joyce Urban of Paige, Reinhold Urban and Allan and Linda Urban, all of Austin; sister, Helen and Paul Galyp of Schulenburg; and grandmother Louise Jenke of Austin.
